UAW-Ford 500

Wow! What a charge to victory lane by Jeff Gordon. The drive for five is alive and well.

I thought the race was filled with action, drama, and excitement right from the green flag. The #9 Dodge ran decently, and definitely better than the finish indicated. They are going to be a force to be reckoned with next year when they sport Budweiser on the hood.

On another note, the Cardinals chalked up another W. Keep it up, boys!

Cardinals? I used to be an Eagles fan until I came into the light of the Cowboys. However I recall that even when the Eagles were good, the Cards would really hurt them physically at least. Maybe that's why they called it the 'black and blue' division (back when the Cards were in the NFL east).
Gordon is my favorite along with Tony Stewart. I like Gordon because the rednecks hate his guts and you know the old saying 'my enemy's enemy is my friend'. [g]
I crack up whenever Steward goes off his meds and someone bumps him and then he stalks the driver lap after lap before taking his revenge. Those eyes of his bore right through you. LOL

Howdy! Fan might be too strong of a word to describe my relationship with the Cardinals. I have what would more accurately be described as mild concern for them. Unfortunately for me, I am a die-hard Vikings fan. That's not easy most of the time.
